Do I need to supply a set of keys to the agent?
Yes, we would normally expect a set of keys for each tenant as well as a full set for us to hold at our property management office.
How much deposit do you take?
We take 5 weeks rent as deposit to be used against any damages/dilapidation at the end of a tenancy. This is the maximum that is allowed under the current laws. We also offer Zero Deposit options to tenants, who can purchase an insurance policy which saves them locking in a 5 week deposit for many years. This policy offers 6 weeks rent to be used in the event of any damages. All tenants that take out this policy still have to pass our referencing and affordability checks as if they were paying a cash deposit.
If I give you a key to my home will you accompany buyers to view?
Yes. Many owners prefer to leave keys with us for daytime viewing appointments, and we will always accompany potential purchasers. Keys are security coded and are never released without your prior authority to do so.
