Question #76

Q.

What is an EPC and why do I need one to let my property?

A.

An EPC is an Energy Performance Certificate and is produced by a Domestic Energy Assessor to give a property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It’s a legal requirement to have an EPC before you let your property and must have a minimum rating of E. An EPC is valid for 10 years. We can arrange this with a minimum of fuss.
