Our development team acquired this redundant former doctor's surgery in September 2012 on behalf of a private investment fund. Whilst the property had planning permission for conversion and extension to form two residential units, a denser consent was believed to be viable. We continued to manage the project following acquisition on behalf of the investor clients; assembling a professional team and conceiving a scheme for 8 two bedroom apartments.
A full planning application was made in March 2013, and approved under delegated powers just eight weeks later. The property was sold in June 2013 to renowned local developers Hillman; generating an impressive return for our investor clients.
