With fireworks night almost upon us, and many events now ticketed, now's the time to start planning which display you're going to attend. Here's our roundup of some of the biggest and best displays in South London.

Crystal Palace

Saturday 2nd November 2019 | 5pm - 10.30pm

Crystal Palace Fireworks

More than just a display, it's a whole evenings' entertainment. There's masses of food, a large range of licensed bars, fairgrounds, tented entertainment arenas, an amazing live show from the Lords of Lightning, as well as a bonfire and of course a fireworks display with lasers that will be second to none.

Battersea Park

Saturday 2nd November 2019 | 6pm - 10pm (afterparty until 1am)

Battersea Park Fireworks

With over 50,000 people expected to come and experience spectacular fireworks in one of London's most iconic parks, and an after party at Evolution featuring Rudimental & Norman Jay, this year's Battersea Park fireworks should not be missed. There will hot food and drinks within the park and a bonfire lit by the Mayor of Wandsworth.

Beckenham Park

Saturday 2nd November 2019 | Gates open at 5pm - Quiet Display at 6pm - Main Display at 7.45pm

Beckenham Park Fireworks

A bonfire night celebration with firework display hosted by the 5th Beckenham South Scout Group for charity. There will be two displays; an autism - and child friendly one at 6pm, and the main display at 7.45pm, both set to music. Food stalls this year include burgers, jerk chicken, jacket potatoes, pulled pork, hot dogs, ice cream as well as warming drinks, served from 5pm.

Chislehurst

Saturday 2nd November 2019 - Gates open at 5.30pm - Fireworks at 7pm

Chislehurst Fireworks

With a DJ playing music before and after the main event, it promises to be a spectacular show featuring a kids funfair, and performers. Run for over 35 years by the Chislehurst Rotary Club, it attracts well over 6,000 people and raises thousands of pounds for local charities.

Southwark

Tuesday 5th November 2019 - 5pm (last entry at 6.30pm) - 8.30pm

Southwark Fireworks

Free to local residents (paid entry for non-local residents), Southwark Council's annual fireworks extravaganza is now in its 16th year. There will be a great selection of food stalls and bars offering a selection of beers, wines, spirits, mulled wine, and cider, as well as fire dancers and a funfair to entertain the crowds until the fireworks begin.

Dulwich

Saturday 2nd November 2019 - 5pm - 8pm

Dulwich Fireworks

This family orientated firework display features a new improved layout which will mean more food & beverage stalls than ever before making this the place to be. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm, and the firework extravaganza begins at around 7pm. Kids under 10 admitted free.

Welling/Bexleyheath

Saturday 2nd November 2019 - 6pm - 9.30pm

Welling / Bexleyheath Fireworks

The Welling Round Table's Charity fireworks display at Danson Park features a 25 minute display over the lake from 8pm, with all proceeds going back into the local community. Featuring entertainment from George Manning and Dishy Tangent, a funfair and a range of food stalls, it's an event not to be missed.

Blackheath

Saturday 2nd November 2019 - Funfair from12 noon, Fireworks at 8pm

Blackheath Fireworks

With a funfair from 12 noon, food and bars from 5pm, and a spectacular display from 8pm, the Blackheath display is always a hugely popular event. One of the few displays that is still free, Blackheath attracts crowds of up to 100,000.
