Visitors can be part of a giant 17th-century painting as it comes to life, ride on a laugh out loud, low-tech rollercoaster or dive into a fantastical, family friendly drag show.

This year, ‘The Great Get Together Bankside’ once again hits the streets of London on 23 June 2019, taking place across the whole of Bankside. Joining the Jo Cox Foundation’s nationwide celebration of inclusion, tolerance and social cohesion. London Borough of Southwark residents and business communities will be ‘Getting Back Together’ for the third fabulous, free street festival – coming together to share a common purpose…and this year promises to be even more spectacular with the boroughs largest ever programme.

Brockley Society Midsummer Fayre

Saturday 22nd June, 12noon – 5pm
Hilly Fields, Brockley

This will be the 45th annual Fayre and as one of Brockley’s biggest and best community events it contributes hugely to the unique character of our area. Attendance on the day is regularly over 5000, and for many it is a real highlight of the summer. As always there will be a wide range of arts, crafts, community, bric-a-brac and food-related stalls as well as delicious hot and cold foods, refreshing ales, singing and dancing, charity displays, competitions, a birds-of-prey display, fun fair, and a hands-on animal farm.
