Sundridge Park Golf Club was once more the venue for this year's Acorn Group Vs Judge & Priestley, ‘Bromley Property Group Charity Golf Day’. In soaring temperatures topping 30c, friends and professional clients of both companies went head-to-head for a competitive round of golf and battled it out for the highly coveted winner’s trophy. The event, now in its fourth year, was as always a huge success. After a slight change in the format last year due to covid restrictions, it was back to the regular shotgun start on the stroke of 1 pm, with team captains Robert Sargent for Acorn, and Steven Taylor for Judge & Priestley, leading the way.

On return to the clubhouse, some rather hot and weary players were greeted on the terrace with ice-cold beverages from the bar and a stunning buffet created by Sundridge Park's own Chef. The scores from the day were calculated and checked under the stewardship of Nick Parrott - Golf & Facilities Manager at Sundridge Park. The overall winners, with a convincing 14 ½ to 5 ½ victory, were The Acorn Group who proudly took home the team trophy for the 3rd consecutive event.

However, with fundraising taking place throughout the day, the real winner was Bromley Brighter Beginnings - this year's chosen charity. Over £5,000 was raised, which will help fund the fantastic work that the charity undertakes within Bromley Borough.

A big thanks go to all involved for making the day a huge success. To find out more about the work of Bromley Brighter Beginnings and how you could support them, please visit: https://www.bromleybrighterbeginnings.org.uk/
