West Wickham is in the Borough of Bromley and is bordered by Shirley, Beckenham, Bromley, Keston, and Hayes. West Wickham is sought after due to the Primary and Secondary schools and fast train services into central London.

Coombe Wood – This nearby woodland area has a small pond and waterfall

West Wickham has a traditional High Street has many local, independent shops including Bromley Brides and Felicity Hat Hire, as well as a Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, and Lidl. The Glades shopping centre in Bromley is close by, with 135 high street stores.
