The site comprises a rectangular parcel of land located to the rear of 92-94 Eltham High Street. The site is currently in use as a car park, featuring an electricity substation to the southern end of the site. The site is accessed via a private access road off Passey Place.
The site has full planning permission to construct a row of three two storey terraced houses with additional accommodation within the roof of the dwellings providing two additional studio flats. Each of the dwellings will benefit from outdoor amenity space.
The consented scheme has been designed in such a way to replicate the terraced form, architectural design and character of the local listed buildings directly adjacent to the site at Elizabeth Terrace. The proposed development will be coined 'Charles Terrace' reflecting its reflection of and partnership with the adjacent Elizabeth Terrace. As the name suggests, the proposed development seeks to carry on the legacy and historical significance which has been set by the neighbouring buildings at Elizabeth Terrace.
