Rochester based Gillcrest Homes have quickly grown from a small niche developer to one of Kent's major house builders. Our first contact with Gillcrest involved a scheme of nine apartments in Bromley, and yet just a few years later they are about to commence construction of a 300 unit development in Dover.
Despite their rapid growth, Gillcrest continue to acquire and promote smaller sites such as the former nursing home in Ham Lane, Lenham. Having secured planning permission for a courtyard development comprising 129 flats and houses, and with their construction team fully focused on the Dover site, Gillcrest invited us to introduce a buyer.
Jones Homes, who are part of the Emerson Group, are also expanding and have recently acquired a number of sites across Kent. The offer made by Jones was accepted, and contracts have now exchanged. The sale of the finished units will be managed by the Kent region of our New Homes Division, based at Kings Hill.
