It is widely acknowledged that in the majority of areas, a planning consent for residential development is likely to enhance the value of a site more than permission for any other use. This rule, however, doesn't always apply, and as such we make sure we give other uses due consideration in order to maximise the value of each site.

When instructed by a private client to market a site with planning permission for the construction of 10 flats in Duppas Hill, Croydon, we received interest from several commercial operators in addition to residential developers. Following a period of intense marketing a private firm providing specialist care within the community outbid their competition and having completed their purchase, intend to submit a planning application for the construction of a new nursing home.
