Borough of Bromley

Located in the London Borough of Bromley, Locksbottom is bordered by Orpington, Keston, Farnborough, and Bromley. Locksbottom has some of the best schools in the area, including world recognised school Darrick Wood, and Grammar schools: St Olave’s and Newstead Wood. Locksbottom village high street is a parade of Tudor style buildings, making the area very picturesque.

High Elms Country Park – This 250-acre park has a cafe, nature reserve, walking trails, visitor centre, and car parks

Hayes Common & Keston Village – Nearby Hayes common shows historical occupation from at least 3000 B.C, and there are also iron age encampments nearby. Some sights include Roman tombs, mausoleum, and a Roman Villa

Keston Ponds – Several ponds, with disabled access, perfect for fishing

There are a few local shops in Locksbottom. More comprehensive shopping is in Orpington and Bromley, including The Glades shopping centre in Bromley. The major supermarket in the area is Sainsbury's.
